The Story:
We’re so excited to share that Team Joy is heading back to Guatemala for our second year with IEP! Last year’s trip was an incredible experience—one filled with connection, learning, and the true joy of serving together. This June, we can’t wait to return and continue building on that same spirit.
During our week in Guatemala, we’ll be working side by side to install stoves and water filters in local homes and offer medical care through IEP’s clinic. Our team will include doctors from different specialties, making it possible to care for people in a variety of ways. But beyond the projects themselves, what makes this trip so special are the relationships we build—sharing laughter, playing with children, and creating lasting memories with the families we meet.
For us, these moments remind us why we call ourselves Team Joy. Every day brings new opportunities to grow closer as a team, support one another, and experience the happiness that comes from giving. Evenings are a chance to slow down, share meals, and reflect on the day’s experiences—often with plenty of laughter and stories to go around.
We’ll end our trip in beautiful Antigua, where we’ll explore the city and celebrate our time together over a farewell dinner. It’s always a meaningful moment to look back on everything we’ve shared and accomplished as a group.
Leading Team Joy for a second year is a privilege we’re deeply grateful for. We’ve learned so much through this journey—about gratitude, community, and the deep fulfillment that comes from serving others. Whether you joined us last year or are thinking about coming for the first time, we’d love for you to be part of our 2026 team. Come experience the joy with us!
