Mother's Day at El Molino

On Friday, May 8th, the community of El Molino School came together to celebrate Mother’s Day with an afternoon filled with love, gratitude, and joy. Mothers from our school community were welcomed with smiles and heartfelt appreciation as they gathered to enjoy this very special event alongside their sons and daughters. The celebration created a warm space where families could pause from daily challenges and simply enjoy meaningful moments together.

Throughout the afternoon, mothers participated in games, activities, and shared laughter with their children and teachers. Students proudly honored their mothers with small performances and thoughtful gestures that reflected the deep admiration they feel for them. Each mother also received a nice meal and a special gift as a token of appreciation for the love, sacrifice, and dedication they show every day in supporting their families and their children’s education.

At International Esperanza Project, we believe that strengthening family bonds is an essential part of building stronger communities.  The Mother’s Day celebration at El Molino School was a beautiful reminder that even small acts of kindness can create lasting memories for the families we serve.
