Team Legacy 2025 : A Tradition of Impact and Hope
For over a decade, Team Legacy has been at the heart of IEP’s mission, bringing together volunteers to create lasting change in Guatemala. As the inaugural community impact trip for the International Esperanza Project, Team Legacy has built a strong tradition of service, connection, and transformation—one stove, one water filter, and one heartfelt moment at a time.
This year, our dedicated volunteers impacted 404 patients, providing essential healthcare and support. Sixty (60) families received life-changing stoves and water filters, improving their health and quality of life for generations to come. But beyond the numbers, Team Legacy’s true impact lies in the relationships formed, the laughter shared, and the mutual learning that takes place between volunteers and the incredible Guatemalan families we work alongside.
From installing stoves that reduce respiratory illness to ensuring families have access to clean water, every action leaves a legacy of improved health, opportunity, and hope. Evenings are filled with reflection, gratitude, and the joy of coming together as a team. The journey culminates in visits to Lake Atitlán and the historic city of Antigua, offering moments of awe and appreciation for Guatemala’s beauty and culture.
Thank you, Team Legacy, for your unwavering dedication and generosity. Your work changes lives—not just for those you serve, but for everyone who experiences the magic of this trip. We look forward to welcoming new and returning volunteers next spring for another unforgettable week of service and connection!
