This month, our students led the way. IEP’s secondary school team took first place at the STEAM Cup, and a group of 10th graders raised the funds to renew their school’s sports court themselves. Out in the field, dental care returned to Team Hope after a year away, and our water filter replacement program reached 103 families in its second phase.
The Gala Silent Auction is also open. You can browse and bid from wherever you are, no ticket needed, as we count down to An Evening in Paris on November 7.
With gratitude, The IEP Team

The competition is part of the educational programs we develop with the support of Fundación BI and 1Bot, whose partnership opens doors for our students to learn, innovate, and achieve.

Education Stories
An Initiative That Is Transforming Our School
Our 10th-grade students wanted to bring new life to the school’s sports area. With their teacher’s support, they organized sales, raised the funds, and bought the paint and tools to renovate the court and benches. The renewed court is the visible result. The lasting one is the initiative, teamwork, and responsibility they showed along the way.

Health Stories
Dental Care Returns to Team Hope
Last year we could not offer dental care. This year it returned, and it mattered to the patients who came to our clinics in San Felipe, Retalhuleu. Dr. Robert Bradley joined our volunteer team, with his wife and biggest supporter, Nikki Bradley, by his side. Together they helped bring much-needed dental care to families in a region where oral health is often among the most neglected needs and a dentist is hard to reach.

Continuing Our Commitment to Clean Water
In August, we completed the second phase of our water filter replacement program, reaching 103 families through Impacting Homes. Our team revisits families who received filters earlier, replaces the components that wear out, and shows them how to keep the system working, so clean drinking water lasts beyond the day of installation.
